I discovered my love for photography when I was only 16 years old after taking my first photography class in high school. I was addicted instantly, it was like I found my calling. While everyone else was planning which University they were going to go off to, I was trying to find the best art schools that offered photography programs. I knew this is what I wanted to do for a living regardless if I had a slim chance of ever being wealthy by doing it.
After attending school for Visual Art and Design I invested in camera gear and a studio of my own. I began shooting with a local modeling agency and from there my name started to get noticed. I was creating a style of my own that people recognized. New clients began knocking on my door, most of them from within the beauty industry, television networks and record labels. In 2012 two of my photographs were recognized by Luerzer's Archives to be featured in their "200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide" book.
I've had the privilege to shoot campaigns for the U.S Army, worked along side my some of my idols including my favorite music artist, Scott Hansen of Tycho and I've gotten to travel to some of the most amazing places for work. Today I shoot everything from Beauty, Fashion, Portraiture, Journalism, Editorial, Lifestyles, Advertising and everything in between. My camera continues to be my weapon of choice and without it I would never be able to convey what my mind sees.
I'm one lucky guy who is able to do what he loves for a living with my amazing wife, Morgen, by my side. Together we have a 9 year old daughter and a German Wirehair doggy. We love being together as a family while traveling the world, listening to good music, cooking vegan meals and using our imaginations to find an adventure in everything we do.
